Today turned out not to be about the walking. We’ll get that over with first. A long slog today. Lots of very straight, very long forest tracks or farm tracks. And not often going south.

And 2600ft of ascent. Plenty happening along the way today. The arrival of my resupply parcel gave me back some mojo.

This was meant to be my resupply day, where I collect my parcel that has been posted out and prepare for the next 500 mile stage. However yesterday’s news was that the French delivery company had other ideas.

The walking wasn’t the issue today. It was everything else. Good and bad in equal measure, apart from one spectacular BAD.

Day 25 – 22 miles to Kedange-sur-Canner
Option 2 won the day. The 22 miler leaves me 30 miles to my resupply on Friday.
