The 1990s (ands 2000s) was the time when I discovered there is a whole lot more world out there than just hikes in Britain. So these years were a bit sparse for British Hikes.
Cotswold Way (100 miles) 1990ish
A stroll through England’s green and pleasant land.
Very rural and some very expensive places to live! This is the abode of the rich people. I felt a bit out of place in my sweaty hiking gear going into pubs (and even shops) along the route.
Some very expensive real estate…
It’s not a difficult route, and being relatively short, makes it a good introduction to the joys of multiday hiking.
